THE DISTRIBUTIONS OF SOME STATISTICS DEPENDING ON THE DEVIATIONS BETWEEN EMPIRICAL AND THEORETICAL DISTRIBUTION FUNCTIONS,

Abstract

The aim of this paper was to show that some theorems which have been obtained by generalizing the classical ballot theorem have many useful applications in the theory of order statistics. Distributions of some random variables were determined by using a simple combinatorial theorem.
