VERIFICATION OF FORECASTS OF MONTHLY PRECIPITATION ANOMALIES BY THE VITEL'S METHOD,

Abstract

Data are given on the reliability of forecasting monthly precipitation anomalies by the L. A. Vitel's method. Analysis of data for a seven-year period has shown that the method has better than random reliability. Months and regions are cited for which the best results were obtained. (Author)
