STRUCTURE OF THE SURFACE BOUNDARY LAYER UNDER CONDITIONS OF TURBULENCE,

Abstract

Turbulence as the basic factor which determines the vertical distribution of a number of meteorological elements in the surface boundary layer of the atmosphere is examined The relation of the profile of such factors as wind speed, temperature, and specific humidity to the height variation of the turbulent transfer coefficient is also considered.
