HIGH TEMPERATURE ARRANGEMENT FOR TESTING LONG LASTING STRENGTH AND CORROSION STABILITY OF STRUCTURAL MATERIALS IN LIQUID SODIUM,

Abstract

This report describes structural features of a lab arrangement for testing corrosion resistance and strength of structural materials in a sodium stream at a temperature of up to 1000C. Given are results of brief corrosion testing of nickel base alloys and chromium nickel austenitic steel at 1000C.
