TEMPERATURE OF A CONE IN SUPERSONIC FLOW WITH CONSIDERATION OF RADIATION,

Abstract

It is shown that the solution of laminary boundary equations on a cone with consideration of the radiation effect can be reduced to the solution of equations similar to corresponding equations for a plate. It is demonstrated that the radiation of an absolutely heat conductive cone is (sq. rt. 3)/2 from the radiation of an absolutely heat conductive plate, and absolutely nonconductive cone approximately (with an accuracy of up to 2%) - (sq. rt. 3)/3 of the radiation of an absolutely non heat conductive plate.
