INTERLAMINAR SHEAR OF FILAMENT-WOUND REINFORCED PLASTICS.

Abstract

Progress is reported of a program aimed at improving the interlaminar shear strength of filament-wound rein forced plastics. The report contains the results of flexure tests performed to establish allowables for overwound components, and the design and analysis of a biaxial cylinder composed of overwound elements.
