HYPERSONIC VISCOUS INTERACTION ON A SLENDER BODY OF REVOLUTION WITH SURFACE MASS TRANSFER,

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to present an analytical formulation of the problem of hypersonic viscous interaction on a very slender body of revolution having a thick boundary layer and with surface mass transfer. Particular attention is directed to establishing the mathematical restrictions necessary for the existence of similar solutions of the laminar boundary layer equations for this class of problems.
