REPRODUCIBILITY OF MEASUREMENTS OF ELECTRIC ROCK PARAMETERS ON SPECIMENS.

Abstract

At frequencies ranging from 100 cps to 100 kcps, the dielectric constant and electrical conductivity of four similar rock specimens were determined at different values of humidity. The frequency dependence of these parameters at different values of humidity and the possibility of reproducing the original state after a change in humidity are discussed. Whereas unique statements can be made on the frequency dependence, several problems not yet solved arise for an exact measurement of the humidity dependence. (Author)
