THE ACQUISITION OF ANALOG DATA IN A DIGITAL FORMAT.

Abstract

A data acquisition system is described in this report which is capable of 1) collecting the contents of one to six channels of analog data at the source, 2) digitizing the contents of each channel, and 3) storing the digitized data on magnetic tape in a format that is compatible to the input units of the computer to be used for analyzing the data.
