X-RAY DIFFRACTION STUDIES OF THERMAL MOTIONS IN CRYSTALS.

Abstract

Thermal vibrations in crystals are studied by diffraction means. Bragg intensities are explored as opposed to direct thermal diffuse scattering measurements. High precision intensity measurements, usually made as continuous functions of temperature, have been the principal form of experimental data used.
