A STUDY OF IONOSPHERIC IRREGULARITIES.

Abstract

Irregular structure and irregular motions in the F-layer of the ionosphere are investigated through the study of the correlation between radio waves reflected at closely spaced frequencies. Results from observations made at 4 MHz in the daytime and the evening are presented. The frequency range over which correlation remains is highly variable and lies between 10 and 100 kHz. (Author)
