STUDY OF THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD FROM ARTIFICIAL SATELLITES AND ROCKETS,

Abstract

The problems associated with the carrying out of geomagnetic measurements from artificial satellites and rockets, in order to secure experimental data on the spatial distribution of the terrestrial magnetic field at high altitudes are discussed. Some geophysical and technical aspects of this type of measurements are also reviewed.
