VISUAL OBSERVATIONS OF ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE,

Abstract

The visual observation of artificial satellites and the meteorological information that may be derived from such observation are discussed. Particular emphasis is placed on the brightness and colors reflected by these satellites with respect to the spectral variations of sunlight in its passage through the terrestrial atmosphere.
