PERCEPTION OF AN IMMOBILE RETINAL IMAGE,

Abstract

CONCLUSIONS: An image, immobile on the retina of the eye, ceases to be perceived after a few seconds. Once it has disappeared, perception of the image does not again appear so long as the illumination and the position of the image on the retina remain unaltered.
