INTERRELATIONS OF AURORA, RADIOWAVE PROPAGATION, MAGNETIC AND IONOSPHERIC DISTURBANCE,

Abstract

At the Tiksi Bay Arctic Station in November, December and January of 1955/56, the Arctic Institute conducted auroral observations and monitoring of radio signals in the 24-69 mc frequency band. The data from these observations were compared with the records of the H-component of the geomagnetic field, and with ionospheric records. The results of this work are presented in the present paper.
