POLARIMETER: A STUDY OF THE POLARIZATION OF RADIO WAVE REFLECTION IN THE IONOSPHERE, I,

Abstract

This paper outlines the fundamental theory of design and the principal circuits of the instrument, and discusses in detail such complicated problems as the shielding of the antenna and feeder, the various requirements for the twinchannel pulse receiver and the special circuits of the indicator. It also discusses the range of measuring errors. (Author)
