MOTION OF WATER DROPLETS IN TURBULENT CLOUDS,

Abstract

The author deals with the coagulation of water droplets streaming in turbulent air currents. The essential problem is to determine to what extent streaming water droplets are carried by turbulent pulsations. The velocity-increasing effect of the pulsations is proved numerically. This result implies that the probability for collisions is also increased. (Author)
