RADAR INVESTIGATIONS OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE IONOSPHERE WITH THE SATELLITE 'COSMOS' ON COHERENT FREQUENCIES.

Abstract

This article shows the results of a preliminary analysis dealing with the differences in the Doppler shift of coherent radio wave frequencies delta phi, emanating from satellites 'Cosmos I' and 'Cosmos II' on frequencies of 20. 005 and 90. 0225 megacycles/sec. New data has been obtained concerning the gradient of the large scale heterogeneity of electron concentration along a satellite orbit and its linear scale. (Author)
