AUTORADIOGRAPHY AND MATERIALS RESEARCH.
Abstract
Autoradiography is defined and discussed and the 'wet-process' technique is outlined. Requirements on the characteristics of the radioactivity of specimen material are noted along with a discussion of the overall resolution obtainable. Some physiological aspects of tracer level (less than 3 Mev) radioactivity are considered and some experiments are cited illustrating the use of radioactive tracers in materials research. (Author)
