THERMAL IGNITION AND RESPONSE OF MATERIALS,

Abstract

Six separate tests were conducted to measure the degree of damage to materials subjected to the thermal radiation of nuclear explosions. These tests are as follows: Stakeline test; treated-timber piling test; window protective test; fabrics test; oxyacetylene and flammable-liquid drum test; and plastics test.
