SPECIAL PERTURBATION TECHNIQUES APPLICABLE TO SPACETRACK

Abstract

This report describes in detail three special techniques which can be specifically applied in the SPACETRACK system to determine the motion of an artificial satellite under the influence of perturbing accelerations. These are Variation of Parameters, Cowell's Method, and Encke's Method.
