OPTICAL AND MICROWAVE SPECTROSCOPY OF SOLIDS.

Abstract

Research progress in the following areas is summarized: room temperature infrared reflection spectrum of LiH from 2000 to 400/cm; normal and oblique incidence IR transmission of thin CuCl films; theory and measurement of Azbel-Kaner cyclotron resonance in p-type PbTe and PbSe crystals; observation of the plane of polarization of transverse acoustic waves in tellurium.
