METHOD OF IMPREGNATING HIGH MELTING METALS IN A GAS MEDIUM, FOR EXAMPLE, WITH ALUMINUM, SILICON, AND ZIRCONIUM,

Abstract

Object of the Invention: A method of impregnating high-melting metals in a gas medium, for example with aluminum, silicon, and zirconium, with the use of a 'two-story' muffleless furnace, which is distinguished by the fact that for the purpose of decreasing the consumption of gas and improving the sanitary conditions, the gas medium which is the carrier of the diffusing element of the coating onto the metal to be coated is put into circulation in a hermetically sealed space in the working chamber of the furnace and is used over and over again in the process of impregnation.
