STUDIES ON THE MARINE QUATERNARY.

Abstract

Progress is reported on the study of the Quaternary changes of shoreline in various parts of the world and the interpretation of the temperature, depth, and other ecological factors based on fossil invertebrates. Principal areas of research included Argentina, Chile, continental shelf off New Jersey, Virginia, Canary Islands, California, and Europe.
