RESEARCH ON ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE AND RELATED TOPICS.
Abstract
The research described in this report is directed towards understanding of linear models and the analysis of variance with regard to experimentation. Chapter I gives a general outline of topics covered in the report. Chapter II gives a detailed account of the randomization consequences in a generalization of the balanced incomplete block design. Chapter III attempts a unified formulation of experimental structures and discusses variance analysis in the general experiment. Chapter IV introduces generalized polykays and discusses their application to the obtaining of variances and covariances of components of variation. Chapter V discusses and relates various topics in linear models. Chapter VI discusses the size and power of certain tests under experimental randomization.
