CRUISE CONTROL OF TURBOJET AIRCRAFT.

Abstract

A general technique is presented for cruise control of turbojet powered aircraft. The technique is evolved through the effects of imposed constraints and external forces to an integrated display system that will enable the pilot to optimize cruise management under all realistic conditions. Requirements are defined and the preliminary effort necessary for the commencement of a program for development of the total system is completed.
