INTERPRETATION OF SPECTRA OF HC1 AND DC1 IN AN ARGON MATRIX.

Abstract

A novel treatment to interpret the spectra of HC1 and DC1 trapped in solid argon is presented in which the J-dependent shifts of the lines result from the 'translation-rotation coupling' effect. (Author)
