ALTITUDE TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT (ATE) EXPERIMENTATION.

Abstract

Laboratory and flight tests of the Altitude Transmission Equipment manufactured by Airborne Instruments Laboratory have been completed with satisfactory results. The ground decoding equipment used in conjunction with the flight tests, however, exhibited shortcomings when attempts were made to process garbled beacon reply codes. (Author)
