IONOSPHERIC RESEARCH.

Abstract

Object of the research is: (1) To continue the work carried out under contract SC85173 by receiving signals by reflection from the moon and measuring the Faraday Rotation; (2) to use the data to calculate the electron content of the ionosphere above the earth; (3) to study the diurnal, seasonal, and irregular changes in electron content; (4) to correlate irregular changes in electron content with other natural phenomena; and (5) to study the reflecting surface of the moon.
