CALCULATION OF FLOW OF A HYPERSONIC GAS STREAM DIRECTED AROUND AXIALLYSYMMETRICAL BODIES,

Abstract

In this report equations of second approximation are investigated of the hypersonic theory of small perturbations. The system of equations, which was obtained by introducing a flow function of second approximation, is reduced to one nonlinear differential equation in partial derivatives. Discussed is also the problem of directing a hypersonic flow around conical bodies. Numerical calculations indicate, that the possibility of expanding the zone of applying the theory of small turbulences (perturbations), considering other approximations, in case of a flow directed around much thicker cones, rather than according to the theory of first approximation.
