EXCITATION AND DETECTION TECHNIQUES FOR MILLIMETER WAVE TRANSITIONS.
Abstract
The alterations of the molecular beam apparatus, which are required for observation of the Ramsey pattern, have been completed. A new interferometer for the beam apparatus has been completed. A description is given of the changes made in the beam ionization system. The distortions of line shapes which are anticipated at millimeter wavelengths are discussed. (Author)
