Abstract

The quantum statistical theory of Wigner distribution functions, which has been developed in the two previous papers on the foundations of non-equilibrium thermodynamics for Maxwell-Boltzmann statistics, is extended in the present paper to the cases of Bose-Einstein and Fermi-Dirac statistics.
