TYPE OF GROWTH AND PROPERTIES OF LIQUID CRYSTALS OF THIAZINE DYES,

Abstract

A study was made of the growth and transformations in liquid crystals of a number of thiazine dyes, and it was established that these processes are different in different dyes. The dyes examined were: Novomethylene blue, methylene green, Methylene blue, toluidine blue, thionine blue, and thionine violet.
