THERMAL DIFFUSIVITY OF AMMONIUM PERCHLORATE,

Abstract

A method was developed to measure the thermal diffusivity of poorly conductive materials. The method is absolute and rapid, and requires only small samples; tests of materials with known thermal properties confirm its accuracy. The thermal diffusivity of compressed ammonium perchlorate powders was measured as a function of porosity, particle size, and temperature. (Author)
