CONCERNING AN INTEGRAL OCCURRING IN AEROFOIL THEORY,

Abstract

The calculation of a certain definite integral occurring in the analysis of ring airfoils of elliptic cross section is considered. Although a representation of this integral in closed form by means of elliptic integral is possible, a solution in the form of a recurrence formula for the purpose of numerical calculation is predicted.
