ASYMPTOTIC REHAVIOR FOR LARGE IMAGINARY VALUES OF ANGULAR MOMENTUM OF THE AMPLITUDES FOR THE SCATTERING OF A DIRAC PARTICLE ON A CENTRAL SCALAR POTENTIAL,

Abstract

It is proved that the analytically continued partial-wave amplitudes for the scattering of a Dirac particle on a central sealar potential which may be expressed as a superposition of Yukawa functions vanishes as the imaginary part of the angular momentum increases without bound. The potential has to be further restricted so that it vanishes at small distances and is weak. The method of proof is based on the phase approach to scattering theory. (Author)
