SILICON AND ZINC EFFECT ON MAGNESIUM-LITHIUM AND MAGNESIUM-LITHIUM-SILVER ALLOYS.

Abstract

Small amounts of silicon were added to magnesiumlithium lightweight alloys and it was found this increased ultimate tensile strength in binary, ternary, and quaternary, strengthened the matrix, and refined grain size. (Author)
