Abstract

The objectives of this study are to determine the gross features of the movement and dispersion of Columbia River effluent water in the open sea off the mouth of the river and along the adjacent coast, and ultimately to ascertain the probable fate of any radioactive material that might be associated with the effluent or with riverborne materials.
