DETERMINATION OF THE REFLECTING PROPERTIES OF PRESSED MGO POWDER,

Abstract

Blocks of pressed MgO powder have recently become available for use as diffuse reflectance standards. The calibration of one such sample in the visible portion of the spectrum is described. Specifically, the total hemispherical reflectivity was determined together with its dependence on the direction of view. (Author)
