PHYSICS OF THE SOLAR CORONA.

Abstract

A summary is given of work on: (1) a book on the solar corona; (2) the development of a theory for the Moreton wave eminating from solar flares; (3) a study of the physics of coronal condensations through the intensity and profiles of the two coronal yellow lines and the coronal continuum; (4) a study, from Climax and Sacramento Peak prominence films, of the stability of quiescent prominences.
