A STUDY OF THE WORKLOAD PLACED BY RETIREES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS ON THE LABORATORY AND X-RAY DEPARTMENTS OF AN AIR FORCE HOSPITAL,

Abstract

The study is an attempt to determine whether retired military personnel and their dependents place a greater workload on the laboratory and x-ray departments of USAF Hospital Kessler than do active duty personnel and their dependents. Although the findings of this study may not be generalized appropriately to other hospitals, it is felt that some insight may be gained into the problem of providing medical care for retired military people.
