STUDY OF FORCES ON PROPELLANTS DUE TO HEAT TRANSFER INFLUENCING PROPELLANT TEMPERATURE IN A RECOVERY TYPE VEHICLE.

Abstract

The effort was confined primarily to a review of the existing Lockheed reports, assembly of available physical properties of the propellants and initiating a simplified analysis to give the order of magnitude values as an aid to specifying the important sources of forces resulting from heat transfer.
