Abstract

The results are presented of analytical investigation of the motion of an artificial satellite in a non-central field of gravity of the earth. An approximate solution of the problem is obtained by the averaging method of N. M. Krylov and N. N. Bogolyubov (Asymptotic methods in the theory of nonlinear oscillations. Fizmatgiz, 1958).
