DERIVATION OF NEW POLYMERS WITH BENZIMIDAZOLINE LINKS IN BASIC CHAIN,
Abstract
Polymers with benzimidazoline units in the principal chain were synthesized by polycondensation of 3,3',4,4'tetraaminodiphenyl with aromatic dicarbonyl compounds. The latter comprised aromatic dialdehydes and their acetals and aromatic diacetyl compounds. The polymers were obtained in the form of non-fusible, light brown powders. (Author)
