A DESCRIPTION OF THE FESTSA SYSTEM,

Abstract

The user writes a simple main program in FORTRAN consisting of calls to the subroutines needed for his particular computation. These subroutines exist in binary (compiled) form on cards, and not on magnetic tape. It is designed primarily for use on the SCCUH (Statistical and Computing Center, University of Hawaii) IBM 7040, but it could be adapted to any computer having a FORTRAN compiler. Binary decks for the 7040 are available on request.
