QUARTZ CRYSTAL UNIT CR-(XM-37)/U.

Abstract

In view of 70 ohm maximum effective resistance of SCS-75 and the test results on preproduction lots, Technical Action Request 3 was submitted requesting 90 ohms maximum. This request was approved 19 November, 1963. Due to subsequent failure of some preproduction units in Salt Spray and Moisture Resistance, the soldering and sealing procedures were revamped. Five units out of thirty tested exceeded frequency tolerance during Temperature Test. This was corrected by slightly lowering angle of cut and by more careful temperature testing in the TS-15 test oscillator. (Author)
