STEPS TOWARD COMPUTER SIMULATION OF SMALL GROUP BEHAVIOR,

Abstract

The general objective of the work to be described is to develop a simulation model to be used for investigating certain aspects of the performance of man-machine systems. The model will incorporate behavior and effectiveness of the human component, ordinarily a small group or team, and other parameters describing important properties of the task environment. Assuming definite functional relations between these sets of parameters and specific numerical values, it will attempt to predict the critierial performance of the total system.
