REACTIONS OF CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM AND CERIUM HYDRIDES WITH AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS,

Abstract

The report describes studies of reactions of CaH2, MgH2 and CeH2 with D2O solutions. The purpose of these studies was to establish the fate of hydride hydrogen in such reactions and the stoichiometry of reactions in which metal ions compete with D(+) as oxidizing agents.
