Rotor Creep Test of Fuze, MT, T366

Abstract

Tests were conducted to determine if the T366 fuze rotors (Fuze, MT, T366) could withstand storage temperatures under simulated loading conditions. Five 200-hour tests were conducted on these rotors which were subjected to loads of 8.25 lbs. and 16.5 lbs. at temperatures of -65 deg F, +70 deg F, +125 deg F and +165 deg F. Overall results of the tests indicate that the rotors will withstand prolonged exposure to temperatures of -60 deg F and +165 deg F and still function satisfactorily.
