ISOTOPIC COMPOSITION OF LEAD IN THE SEDIMENTS NEAR JAPAN TRENCH,

Abstract

The isotopic composition of lead in the sediments near the Japan Trench was determined. The values are: (206) PB/204PB=18.45; (207)PB/(204) PB=15.63; and (208)PB/(204)PB=38.68. The mu and kappa values of the source material are also calculated to be 8.8 and 3.9 respectively. (Author)
